Apryll Stalcup is Full Professor of Chemical Sciences at Dublin City University. She received a BS in Chemistry from California State University-Sacramento (1979) and her PhD from Georgetown University in Washington, DC (1988). She was a Co-op Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland (1985-1988). After a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Missouri-Rolla, she moved to the University of Hawaii-Manoa in 1990.
